FINLANDIA-HIIHTO is an international cross-country skiing event
sponsored by Finnish Ski Association with a long history. It is a long-distance
cross-country ski competition and part of International Ski Federation event. After
46 years of development, FINLANDIA-HIIHTO
has become one of the world's top long-distance cross-country skiing events.
More than 4,400 skiers and enthusiasts from around the world took part in the
46th FINLANDIA-HIIHTO in 2019,
which just finished in Lahti. More than 20,000 athletes participate each year,
with a live audience of 220,000 and a television audience of over 600 million.
